We have started our study of fractions in math. This week we reviewed past learning and explored big ideas about fractions.
In book clubs, students are currently reading historical fiction chapter books. We meet frequently to read, discuss events, and write and discuss our thoughts.
This week students will be bringing home a ruler and measurement packet. This is separate than the regular homework packet that comes home in the Friday folder. This measurement packet is extra MAP skills practice. These packets are optional and will start coming home regularly. If they complete and return this packet they will have a special treat on Friday.
Jumping Off to Oregon....
This week we purchased supplies, made our journals, and "jumped off" to Oregon. We experienced a variety of fates and made decisions with the members of our wagon. It will be an adventure - Please be sure to ask your child about it frequently.
