Cle Elum-Roslyn Elementary

We are extremely excited to welcome back everyone to the new school year, and extend a special welcome to all of our new students and families. The entire staff are looking forward to another great year at Cle Elum-Roslyn Elementary.

We are excited to welcome new staff members to our school: Anna Clyde (Kindergarten), Melissa Schrader (2nd Grade), Natalie DeHaven (3rd Grade), Amanda Hines (Library/Media Specialist), and Michelle Laythe (Administrative Assistant).

You can expect a monthly newletter from the school to keep you up to date with what is happening here at the elementary and in the classrooms. A good way to stay up to date, as well, is by visiting our district or elementary website or by following our district and elementary Facebook pages.

• Price for Lunch is $3.00

• ASB for Preschool to Kindergarten Elementary students is $3.00, for 1st - 5th Grade is $5.00
• Please Read, Fill out and return all important forms handed out on the 31st or sent home on the first day of school (if you were not able to attend)
• Student Drop off begins at 7:45, School Begins at 8:10.
• School Dismissal is at 2:55 (Mon.-Thurs.) and 1:55 early dismissal (Fri.)

Family Engagement Night will be tomorrow, August 31st, from 4:30-6:30. Come join us at the Elementary School to meet your new teacher, for everyone Preschool - 5th. Along with meeting your teacher, there will be a passport to tour the school, visit community organizations, and find out volunteer opportunities for the school!

Please drive slowly through the parking lot, drop off and pick up times are extremely busy.

Student drop off begins at 7:45, please use the parking spaces in front of the school. If those spaces are full please use the parking spaces along the playground fence line. We have designated crosswalks for students to cross the bus lane. Thanks to our amazing facilities and maintenance team we have added a crosswalk at the east end of the bus lane.

For the first week of school, parents can walk their student to their outside classroom doors to help them find their way!

Student Pick up will be located on the grass between the bus lane and the playground fence. As classes come out, please stay behind the green cones. When you see your student please, wait to make contact with your student's teacher before leaving with your student.

Parking is busy during this time. Please use caution pulling into the parking lot, as well as in and out of the parking spaces. It takes all of us being cautious to keep our students safe!

If there is any change in transportation for your student, please try to call the office beore 2:00. If you are picking up your student early, please try to call the office ahead of time so we can have your student ready!

There will be a station at Family Engagement Night with forms and information on different volunteering opportunities.

We will have information about Parent Volunteering, Watch D.O.G.S (Dad's of Great Students), PAC, and Ed. Foundation.
