Dear SJCA-OP Lion Parents,

I am truly honored to have the opportunity to lead SJCA-OP. As we prepare to start this incredible journey, whether you have a KG or a 5th-grade scholar, we are looking forward to an exciting year of new experiences. Parents are the initial and primary teachers of their children, we look forward to walking alongside you in this mission. We are excited to provide this content-rich, Classical curriculum to educate the mind of your students. We will teach and model our school virtues to help form a virtuous character in our scholars as well. We are grateful you have chosen St. Johns Classical Academy-OP for your children. I encourage you to look for opportunities to get involved and learn more about Classical education. This will be a year of Growth, Grace, and Grit for all involved.

We are pleased to welcome you to the inaugural year of our new campus in Orange Park! We understand this process is new for all of our scholars and families. Please know there may be a delay in receiving uniforms. Therefore, a grace period will be in effect until Labor Day.

Your scholar will need an everyday uniform, a formal uniform, and a PE uniform by this deadline. If the grace period is needed, they should wear clothing similar in color/style to the uniform. To ensure timely delivery, please order uniforms upon acceptance. All scholars are expected to be in full uniform beginning Tuesday, September 5th.

SJCA - OP Campus is beginning an after-school choir that will meet once a week. This opportunity is offered to scholars in grades 3rd – 5th.

Scholars interested in joining should know they can expect a welcoming, exciting, and enjoyable learning environment that fosters personal and musical growth- regardless of musical ability- through singing, dancing, and public speaking. Song selections represent a wide range of genres, style periods, and cultures, and may include foreign languages. Repertoire supports the SJCA curriculum while also offering scholars a chance to challenge themselves and explore beyond what is covered in their music classes.
