Message From the Principal

Welcome back Pirates! My family was lucky to travel to Florida and stay with my best friend. We enjoyed the sun, sand, and salt and are ready to get back to school! Whether you traveled or stayed home, I hope you had a relaxing break.

We have a short week ahead of us. This week we will be reestablishing routines and finishing up assessments for report cards. Make sure those bags and chromebooks are packed, lunches are made, and students get a good night's rest. We can't wait to welcome them back!

PTO Nominations

A big thank you to Amy Cox (President), Michelle Corder (Vice President), and Amy Foster (Treasurer) who have served our PTO for many years. With graduating Parsons' students and new jobs, these ladies have chosen to step down for next year. We are looking for a new President, VP, and Treasurer. Amy Cox and Amy Foster will still be around to help anyone transition into their new role. If you are interested, please fill out the nomination form!

Calling All Future Marauders for Kindergarten 2023-2024

We are excited to welcome our newest marauders to Kindergarten Round Up on Tuesday, April 11th from 6:00-7:30. There will be an informational session, a chance to meet the teachers, a craft, and a bus ride! Incoming kindergarteners will receive a yard sign and t-shirt! We do not know if we will have a Young 5's program at this time. Stay tuned!

Kindergarten enrollment for the next school year opened Tuesday, February 21. There is a pre-enrollment link on the website. This pre-enrollment must be complete before calling the school to schedule an appointment. If you are School of Choice Intra District, you must enroll at your building of residence not your preferred school. If you are School of Choice Out of District, you must enroll at the Board Office with Karyn. Kindergarten screening will take place August 22 and August 23. You will sign up for a time during enrollment at the building. We can't wait to meet our newest pirates!

Parking Lot Safety

Just a few reminders for our parking lot...

-When dropping off and picking up, please pull all the way up. Do not park on the cross walk.

-If you are parking your car in the front lot or the side lot, please walk up to the school to collect your child. A child was almost hit last week when a parent allowed them to run across the lot.

-If you pull into the front lot instead of in the drive line, you must park in a parking space.

Run Club Sign Up

Run Club will start after Spring Break during the week of April 10. It is being coached by Kara Scheetz and Dane Ziemba for 2nd-5th grade. It will be held Tuesday and Wednesday before school outside on the track. In order to participate, you much fill out this form. Thank you!
