Principal Message
Dear Sequoia Families,
Happy New Year! We are glad to have all our students back on campus! Teachers and students have jumped right back in and it's been great to get back into the swing of things. This month will be focused on Kindness and we will spend the last week of January participating in the Great Kindness Challenge which is a global event that schools around the world will take part in. Sequoia is going to start 2020 moving in the right direction; kindness!
I wanted to remind you that we have an important SPC meeting next Thursday, Jan. 16th. We would love to have you attend to learn more about the "Taste of Sequoia" beer and wine tasting fundraising event and information about the possible purchase of a back up battery for our school to use on future PSPS days. We meet in the library at 6:30. Child care is available.
We are having a Dine and Donate next Wednesday, January 15th at Ricky's Eastbound from 4:30-8:30. You can bring the flyer (see below), show it on your phone or tell your server you're supporting Sequoia School and a percentage of your bill will go back to our school. We'd love to see you support our school and a local restaurant in Rincon Valley! Hope to see you there!
