Principal's Corner
Mohawk Primary Center - December 2021
A Note From Principal Colbert
It is hard to believe that we are welcoming the last month of 2021! There's bound to be snow falling soon, and the students at Mohawk are so excited for their upcoming winter program Twas the Night Before Christmas: COVID Beware! I invite you to join us in-person at Michelle Obama School of Technology and the Arts or via livestream in a location convenient for you on Thursday, December 16th at 1:15 PM. Please note that all in-person attendees must show proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test (taken within 72 hours of the program's date/time). Masks must be worn during the program. All students will be dismissed from Michelle Obama School. Please see the flyer below for additional information.
Please note that Winter Break does not begin until Thursday, December 23rd. On December 22nd, there will be a special toy giveaway. Downs Fitness, LLC in Park Forest has partnered with Mohawk to provide every student with a toy. The staff is looking forward to a fun-filled afternoon with students.
I wish everyone a safe, healthy, and happy December, holiday season, and winter break.
