From Mrs Tennenbaum
The next few months are very busy with holidays all around the world. We are going to work hard but also take time to acknowledge, celebrate and to give back. We are going to be participating in SEL days again to engage students in our social-emotional learning standards. I am looking forward to our students giving their all in this 2nd quarter.
We don't do Average, we do Awesome!
We are all in this together!

Celebrating Awesome!
Red Ribbon Week
Fairfield Elementary will once again be participating in Red Ribbon Week! This year we will be celebrating Red Ribbon Week October 23rd-27th.
This week is usually dedicated to being drug free, but we like to expand on the positivity of this message to focus on making healthy choices throughout our lives. This includes being a good friend to others, being bully free, being drug free, and of course showing how we ROAR each and every day.
The Red Ribbon Campaign is the oldest and largest drug prevention program in the nation. In response to the murder of DEA Agent Enrique Camarena, angered parents and youth in communities across the country began wearing Red Ribbons as a symbol of their commitment to raise awareness of the destruction caused by drugs in America. The program was started by
The National Family Partnership in 1985 and continues to reach millions of students across the country each year.
We are excited to raise awareness and practice making good choices during this week! Be on the lookout for red ribbons around the school and have your student(s) plan to participate in our spirit days to help us celebrate
Being Kind to Your Mind and Living Drug Free!
