Shout out to HIGH BARRE for hosting the Musical Theatre Summer Camp last week to relieve our students from the heat wave!

We are so grateful for the support of Mineral Point Kiwanis throughout the school year! Members stopped by for a great annual tradition -- reading books and then donating them to elementary classrooms. Thank you!

We love our music department fieldtrips, including this one in the spring to Chicago Lyric Opera’s production of West Side Story, Hancock Observation Deck, Lincoln Park Zoo, and Gino’s East Pizza!

We had another fantastic summer in the Don Hawkins Community Oak Savanna -- we are so lucky to have this amazing space on school grounds!

Children need healthy meals to learn. Mineral Point Unified School District offers healthy meals every school day. Please apply for Free or Reduced meals to help ensure all children are at their best each day! A new form must be filled out each school year for those who meet income eligibility guidelines. With school supply lists being distributed, and back to school supplies available in stores, please remember that if your family needs help with supplies, we have many community partners that have generously provided donations to the district. A reminder to mark your calendar for Homecoming 2023! The football game is set for the evening of Friday, October 6 vs. Parkview/Albany. The parade will be the evening of Thursday, October 5 followed by the Spirit Rally and crowning of the King & Queen. The dance will be Saturday evening October 7. Please join us!

The annual Fabulous 50s pasty luncheon will be held on Homecoming Friday, October 6th at Noon at the MP UCC Church! This is open to anyone and their guest who graduated 50 or more years ago from MPHS. The cost is $15 per person and checks are to be made out to the Mineral Point Alumni and sent to Larry McNeill at 219 N Iowa St, Mineral Point, WI 53565. All reservations need to be in by September 22nd (capacity is 140). The Class of 1973 will be the honored class as they celebrate their 50 year reunion.
