3:35 PM Game Night Dinner Served in the Cafeteria sponsored by Walk-ons
4:15 PM Student Leadership Team Inspection-Ensemble Room
4:45 PM Full Band Uniform/Equipment Inspection-Auditorium
5:15 PM Load Yellow Buses
5:30 PM Depart for Football Game
6:15 PM Arrive at Marcus HS-5707 Morris Road-Flower Mound, TX 75028
Unload. Set up Movement Block. Seated in bleachers.
7:00 PM Game Begins. GO HAWKS!
8:15 PM Approx. HALF-TIME Performance
10:00 PM Game Ends
10:30 PM Load buses and depart for Hebron High School
11:45 PM Arrive at Hebron. Unload. Band Meeting/Dismissal.
Take Blue Uniforms home with you for rehearsal in Basic Black. Call time 8:30am.
Parent Contest Preview Performance Hebron HS Band 9-23-23
7:00am Band Hall Opens
8:30am Meet in Stadium for rehearsal in “Basic Black” in Silver Wing Fundamental Block on Field!
Black shoes, black socks, black bib pants, blue camp shirt, black gloves, Instrument w/ case on site.
Place uniform bags, hat box, etc. behind the “Visitors” side bleachers along the chain link fence. Water jugs in usual stadium locations for rehearsal.
Arrive early please…lots of materials to move to the stadium. Be prepared! Band Hall open by 7:30am.
Eat a solid meal before you arrive. Rehearsal and performances and photos before
you get a chance to eat lunch!
Uniform Inspection and Checklist
- Black Bibbers (no break in pant leg)
- Blue Jacket with Plain Silver Plaque
- Blue Camp Shirt
- Plain mid-calf or longer black socks (no logos; mid-calf length)
- Black band shoes (polished shiny with shoe polish)
- Black Compression shorts
- Gauntlets
- Gloves (woodwinds: tips cut)
- Instrument in case
- Flip folder (name and shoestring)
- Hat Frame/Hat Wrap/Hat Box
- Uniform bag (jacket hanging inside until time to finish dressing)
- Change of clothes (to wear home after performance)
- Water jug (lots of clean, fresh water)
- Hebron Band All in-All the Time Wristband
Section Leaders…establish “Section Areas” and hang uniform bag (with jacket inside)
on fence along visitor side of stadium behind bleachers. Keep clear of props.
Section Leaders need: Gauntlet Box, Plaque Box,
10:00am Water and restroom break. Change into full uniform. Reposition water jugs to Side 2 up against fence.
10:20am Band meets in Movement/Stadium Block in drive between Feld House and Baseball Stadium. Get plumes
from parents. Depart for Warm-up Area. Abbreviated Contest Warm-up sequence.
11:00am Hebron Band Parent Preview Performance including stadium entrance and “on field warm-up.”
Anticipate two performances with field entries from different sides of the field. Two exits as well.

Performance 2 Entrance-Side 2 Exit-Dress Center Dress to HHS then Exit Front Side 2
11:20am Drumline Show Performance
11:30am Middle School Bands Perform from field. Crunch Time by Jim Swearingen-conducted by Mr. Alsaffar.
11:45am Hebron Band 2nd Performance using different entrance and exit.
11:55am HHS-Middle School Bands assemble on field in HHS set.
12:00pm HHS Set and Seven Nation Army. Photo of HHS Set w/ Middle School Bands.
12:10pm Dismissal for Middle Schools. Water break/shade break.
12:25pm Set-up for photo with entire band and props. Set/page TBD. Senior picture, too.
1:00pm Collect gauntlets and plaques. Return to band hall. Put hats/hat boxes up.
Change clothes and hang uniforms on racks in ensemble room. Hats replaced in boxes and put away.
Take uniform bags and gloves/shoes home. Uniform racks placed in Ensemble Room.
Bag uniforms on Monday AM before school.
1:15pm Band dismissed. Change clothes. Hang uniforms. Tikiz Shaved Ice and Ice Cream in circle drive.
1:30pm Drumline follow Separate Itinerary for Plano Drumline Contest, below.

Similar to this recent comp, your student will bring a sack lunch, and have the option of being served a warm dinner at the competition.
Dinner: Chick-Fila sandwich, bag of chips, piece of fruit, rice crispy treat, and a bottle of water =$8
If your student cannot eat this meal, you also have the option of bringing dinner for your own kid.
If your student will be having this dinner, please pay by Friday the 22nd. via square https://square.link/u/FtBjZBO1 or send a check to the lockbox clearly labeled 'Plano DL Comp Meal + students name.

2:15 pm - Lunch, Prepare for Inspection
3:10 pm - Inspection
3:15 pm - Load Buses
3:20 pm - Depart for Plano Clark Stadium
4:00 pm - Arrive at Clark Stadium (6600 Stadium Dr, Plano, Tx 75075) 4:00-4:45 pm - Unload, Clean/Tune drums
4:45 pm - Warm-up
5:40 pm - Move to Stadium
5:48 pm - Conquest performance in stadium
6:00 pm - Meeting at Truck
6:15 pm - Load Truck
6:45 pm - Change/Dinner (Leaders stay in uniform) celebrate seniors 7:30 pm - Go into stands for awards

Here are our volunteer opportunities for the week of September 17th.
Here are our volunteer opportunities for the week of September 17th.
We have many volunteer jobs this week, so if you need to plan ahead, please click on the “Click Here to Volunteer” button to go to our volunteer website and view upcoming volunteer opportunities. And don’t forget to check back during the week for new opportunities that may be added!
- This Friday we have an away game at Marcus HS. We need chaperones and water crew help. 5 more Chaperone spots and 5 needed for the water crew!
- Speaking of The Water Crew, we need water crew help Thursday night, Friday before the game AND Friday after the game. We will need help at ALL of those times for the next SEVEN weeks, so please look ahead and see where you can help!
- Pit Crew needs 4 more volunteers for Friday night’s away game, but they need a lot more volunteers on Saturday for their drumline contest!
- Saturday morning is Parent Preview and we have many needs that morning. There is a stadium clean up early in the morning that needs some assistance, spots available in the Concessions stand as well as spots at the Spirit Wear Table. You will NOT miss the performance if you volunteer for these spots as they will both shut down to watch the show and then re-open after the show.
- Memory Books is looking for a volunteer from each of the following sections: Clarinets, Flutes, Props, Trombones, Trumpets and Tubas. Please go to the signup for more information.

Parent Preview is coming this Saturday, 9/23!
Donate and Drop your water near the stadium entrance!
Join us Saturday, 9/23, for our Annual Parent Preview performance at Hebron High School Stadium at 11 am!
We will be joined by the Hebron Guard and will enjoy a special performance with the cluster middle school bands - Arbor Creek Middle School Band, Creek Valley Middle School Band and the Killian Band, as well as a performance from the The Hebron Drumline.
Tikis will be selling snow cones and ice cream outside the stadium from 10 am to 1 pm. Cash and Credit Card are accepted. The HBBC will also be selling limited drinks and concessions.
