Dear ECC Families and Community,

We've had a great week of learning at ECC! It's hard to believe we only have six weeks left in the 20-21 school year. Planning for 21-22 is already in motion, including Kindergarten Kick-off on Monday, April 19 from 5:30-7:00 p.m. If your preschooler is heading to kindergarten next year, please be sure to register for your elementary school's Kindergarten Kick-off.

ECC will also host Preschool Kick-off on Monday from 5:30-7:00 p.m. for families NEW to ECC. If you have a friend or neighbor interested in enrolling for next school year, please send them to ECC on Monday for more information. Have a great weekend!

ECC registration for the 2021-2022 school year is OPEN! The office is open daily from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. for new enrollment and returning student registration. If you have a child attending ECC now, you may request a packet be sent home with your child. If you have questions or need help, you may contact Mary Crabtree in the front office, 317-869-4751. We also welcome new families to attend our Preschool Kick-off on April 19 from 5:30- 7:00 p.m. at ECC to learn more about our center.

On My Way Pre-K is excited to announce that enrollment will begin on May 3, 2021. If you know a family with a four-year old that would benefit from a high-quality pre-K program, please share this information or encourage them to apply online.​​

• What is On My Way Pre-K? On My Way Pre-K is a program that awards grants to four-year-olds from low-income families so that they may have access to a high-quality pre-K program the year before they begin kindergarten. ​
• Where are OMWPK Facilities Located? Families who receive a grant may use the grant at any approved On My Way Pre-K program. Use Child Care Finder to locate a program near you!​

Incoming kindergarten students (age five before October 1) and their families are invited to attend Kindergarten Kick-off on Monday, April 19, from 5:30-7:00 p.m., happening at all nine of Warren's elementary school locations. Take a school tour, meet the kindergarten team, and get all of your questions answered about Kindergarten. Online Enrollment opened on April 5, 2021.

Illness Reporting

We continue to have several absences due to upper respiratory symptoms at ECC. If your child has any symptom(s) of any illness, including cold symptoms, we ask that you keep your child home from school and report their absence and the symptom(s) they are having to their teacher. Nurse Roz will then follow up with you regarding ECC guidelines for returning to school. If you are keeping your child home for other reasons please report that to their teacher as well. Thank You!

It is requested that each child come to school with a full change of clothing, including underwear and socks, in their backpack. Is your child's change of clothing appropriate for the changing seasons? Please make sure you have replaced summer clothes with warmer clothing. We appreciate your assistance.

Session Times for the 20-21 school year are as follows:

Half Day Morning 8:50 to 11:50 a.m.

Half Day Afternoon 12:55 to 3:55 p.m.

Full Day 9:20 to 3:20 p.m.

Child Care 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

If you arrive after the car line has concluded, you will need to park your car and check your child in with the front office.

AM Half Day- Car line closes at 9:00 a.m.

PM Half Day- Car line closes at 1:00 p.m.

Full Day- All car lines, Orange, Pink & Yellow, close at 9:30 a.m.

Thank you for having your car sign displayed for dismissal. It's makes the car line move much quicker. Don't forget to have your ID ready to present to staff when asked.
