Moodle Dig into Digital help
Learn about the MOE Moodle Dashboard, editing a Moodle space and grades on Moodle.
After logging in (using the unique User Name and Passwords), you (teacher) access your area on the Ministry of Education Moodle. You are taken to the dashboard . Put simply, the dashboard is a page where you have an overview of the courses that you have created or, as in the case of the Dig into Digital courses, that you have requested copies of.
Your pupils will be taken to their dashboard, which gives tthem an overview of the courses are enrolled in and any activities which need to be given attention to.
Edit a Moodle space
To edit content in your Moodle space, click the Turn editing on button in the top right of your Moodle space. edit icons and options will now appear.
- Turn editing on.
- Scroll to the bottom of your space.
- Click Add topics (or tiles if you use the Tiles format as in the Dig into Digital courses).
- Choose how many new topics you want to add and click the Add topics button to confirm.
- Click the Edit button in the top right-hand corner of a section to:
- Edit
- Highlight / Remove highlight
- Hide / Show
- Delete
All the grades for each student in a course can be found in the course gradebook.

Here you can gain experience opening learning spaces with prepared content with or without learners with the help of the wizard. After setting up (requestiong / creating) the learning space, teachers can experiment with editing the content.
Find this on your Moodle area after you log in using your unique user name and password.
