It's A Hit Music Program
A note from Mrs. DeRoo.....
Dear Parents,
We are excitedly preparing for our spring music
program IT’S A HIT! This show will be all about baseball. What could be more fun than a musical that celebrates good sportsmanship, teamwork, problem solving and learning how to win and lose with dignity and class?
This year our musical will be at Ben Franklin Middle School at 6:30pm on Thursday, May 10th. The show will last approximately 35 minutes. The theme for the show will be sports. Students may wear anything from a t-shirt that they wore while being a part of a team, a jersey or anything in between. Also, please have a baseball cap for your student to wear. If you need help finding these items, please let Mrs. DeRoo know.
If you have any questions please feel free to email or call. We can’t wait to share our hard work with you.

Local Artist visits Parkview
On May 18th, Parkview students will learn from a very special guest and artist, Brenda Hutchings. Brenda raises Alpaca, Pygora goats, and Jersey Wooly Rabbits and uses their fleece to create woven fabric. One of each of these animals will visit with her to meet the students of Parkview. She will also bring her tools of the trade and fleece at multiple 'stops' in the process of going from animal hair to a garment. This will be a one of a kind assembly that ties into a country our 2nd graders have been studying - Peru!
