Dear LP Families,
Happy Friday! Our students have had a busy two weeks with chorus and band performances, not only for our families but school community as well. There is much that goes into these concerts and we continue to be thankful to both Mr. Trumpowsky and Mr. Savine for working so hard to get our students ready each year.
We also had a community circle to celebrate our 'Golden Heart' students. These are students who were nominated by their classroom for consistently showing HEART every day at school. They are true role models and deserve to be recognized by their peers. These students have earned an upcoming pizza and movie party with myself and Mr. Spadoni. We will select another group of 'Golden Heart' students next month! See pictures below!
Finally, I added a new community event below. Our LP PTA and DE PTA are co-sponsoring an event that talks about youth nicotine use and vaping. While I wish we didn't need to think about these things, the reality is even some of our intermediate students feel pressure from peers to smoke or vape. We hope you can join us to learn more about the issue, ask questions, and learn about prevention. Please see the flyer below.
