Summer Reading Grades 4-6
Why reading over the summer is important!
Have you ever heard of the summer slide? The summer slide is the loss of skills during the time when kids are not in school. One of the best ways to keep those skills is by reading! Below are some of my favorite suggestions for summer reading! Take a book on your flight, or even to the beach. They really do make the best traveling companions. Who knows, maybe you'll read about a place you'll want to visit? If you're looking to pass some time just grab a book. Your brain and your teachers will thank you!
