Bulletin Items
Collection Logs
When turning in money to Ms. Candace, you will now use the teacher deposit form that will include a breakdown of all currency and coins.
If you would like these forms in PDF format instead of Excel, please email me and I can send it to you that way as well. I thought Excel would be easier but some may prefer to write everything on a PDF. If you have any questions regarding the new forms, please ask as this is new to us as well.
Upcoming Meetings
PTO Meeting - Tuesday, Oct. 3rd - 6:00pm in the cafeteria
Positive Office Referrals
It is our hope that you have at least one student in your class that has displayed positive behavior throughout the course of the week that shows how to "Be Safe. Be Responsible. Be Respectful."
Fundraisers
Kona Ice Truck - September 29th during recess.
Jean and Boot Day - every Friday unless otherwise notified
Any time we collect money as a fundraiser, I now have to send in an approval letter to central office explaining what we are doing, estimate profit, and how we will use the money. Please keep this in mind with events to come. If you know your committee will be raising money, please get with me in order to complete the paperwork.
From Superintendent Jenkins
Customer service: I want everyone on your campuses to have spirit of excellence and superior customer service. When a parent or visitor enters your building, I need for someone to greet them first. If they need assistance, rather than direct them, I need for someone on your campus to escort them to the location. Our communities are our customers and we must be able to respond to their needs. In other words, use the McDonalds model….” Do you want fries with that!
Parents have inquired about teachers posting homework, project information, etc. Please check with your teachers to see who is using Remind (https://www.remind.com/ ) or classdojo (https://www.classdojo.com/) to send home photos, PDFs, voice clips, attach homework documents and more for parents. Each teacher should be using one of these to communicate to parents.
Please send Mrs. Perry an email on which application you have chosen to use with your parents.
Lunch Menu
