United Way

United Way has been helping our community for years by bringing individuals, nonprofits, business and government partners in to make a big and lasting impact through three main focus areas: Education, Health and Financial Stability. Below you will find a link to give you more of a visual of what United Ways is, and what they do.

Lets think of this as more than a fundraiser. Think of the students we are helping everyday, think of the neighbors down the street or even someone a little closer to you. These are the people WE are helping. WE are:

• Helping children and youth succeed through engagement
• Strengthening and supporting families
• Improving access to health care
• Promoting financial stability.

Donate to a cause that is helping our community.

• $5 a week provides 25 medical appointments for people with chronic health conditions
• $10 a week provides 86 books for preschoolers
• $20 a week provides 190 people with job-training programming.

Last year we as a district raised $74,723. As an incentive to up that amount Dr. O'Brien has given us a goal of $70,000 and if that goal is met he will allow all employees who make a donation to wear blue jeans for the whole month of January!

Scroll down until you see the E-Pledge Options. Select the option that best describes your position with Goose Creek.

Full Time GCCISD Employee will give you the option of Payroll Deduction or Credit Card/ACH

Part Time GCCISD Employee only gives the option of Credit Card/ACH

Choosing payroll deduction, this screen will pop up and you will need to choose Technology Building as your Campus/ Department.

You will use your GCCISD email and Employee ID# to fill out the Donor Information.

* You can find your Employee ID # on your Frontline Employee Service Center

Under Payroll Deduction you will need to click if you are going to make a donation over a 10 week pay period or if you are going to make a one time payment. If you choose to make a donation that is spread out over a 10 week pay period then you need to make sure that your Contribution Amount per Pay Period is your donation divided by 10.

Example: Donation amount of $100

Contribution Amount per Pay Period: $10

In this section, you will choose where you would like for your donation to be designated to.

*Minimum designation amount is $100 for each designation. There is no minimum if you choose to direct your gift to United Way of Greater Baytown Area & Chambers County or the Community Impact fund. Donors may choose to make more than one designation. Each has to have a minimum of $100 to be eligible.

Sign to verify your donation amount, and you are done.

Click on the Credit Card/ACH

You will be given the option to choose One-Time Donation, Monthly Donation or Yearly Donation

In this section, you will choose where you would like for your donation to be designated to.
