Families,

As I was preparing the message for this newsletter, I was struck with an intense feeling of gratitude. I am so grateful that we have made it to this point in our school year. I am thankful for all of my staff members. The flexibility, helpfulness and care they have shown to one another and to their students this year has been inspirational. We have had challenges and many changes throughout the year. Personal feelings and opinions have added an extra layer to all that we have gone through. Despite all of this, we quickly got into a routine, enjoyed teaching our students and have seen their growth progress.

Our staff can't do what is best for our students without the partnership we have with our families. I am grateful for the support that was shown to the staff throughout the year. We love teaching your children!

I am grateful for our amazing students. They showed flexibility, resilience and adapted to any changes that needed to be made. Having the opportunity to see the students each and everyday made all of the challenging times worth it!

So, thank you families, staff and students! You have done your best in less than ideal situations, worked hard through it all and I can't thank you enough. I am grateful. Please take the time to reflect on this year and what you are grateful for, share it with one another. You have made to the last few weeks of the school year so, celebrate and enjoy the summer break!

Field Day for Students

Our end of the year field day for students will take place on the following days...

Thursday, June 3rd

9:00 - 10:30 AM - 2nd and 3rd grade

1:00-3:30 PM - Kindergarten and 1st grade

Friday, June 4th

10:00 - 11:30 AM - 2nd and 3rd grade

1:00 - 3:30 PM - 4th and 5th grade

Monday, June 10th - *Rain date

Please remember to send your students

Students should bring water bottles with their name on it
Students can wear a hat and use sunscreen.
Remind them to dress for the weather. They will be outside for up to 2 hours

Please watch for an email coming soon regarding Amy Belle office summer hours.

Back to School Packets

Please expect your Amy Belle back to school packet for the 2021-22 school year to be emailed towards the end of summer. Same as last year, the office will no longer be sending home hard copies home with the students.

New Student Registration:

If a new neighbor moves in over the summer, please tell them that school registration is on-line and paperwork can be finalized through the summer. An email can be sent to Melissa Lietzau at mlietzau@gsdwi.org.

Transportation Form - REQUIRED:

Please visit your family Skyward access to complete the transportation form under the Online Forms tab regarding inbound/outbound options for the 2021/22 school year. This process is required and already open for completion.

Special Transportation Request:

If your child will need to be picked up and/or dropped off by the bus at a location other than your home for the 2021-22 school year, please make sure to print a copy of a Special Transportation off (see below). These forms can be mailed to our office at 3294 Willow Creek Rd Colgate, WI 53017 or emailed to Kim Ubert at kubert@gsdwi.org by August 9th to allow for routing changes with Riteway.

PTA - Bus Appreciation

On Monday, June 7th, Amy Belle School will have the opportunity to thank and honor our Bus Drivers! GO Riteway provides our bus services and we are so grateful for the wonderful drivers that help get our students to and from school safely each day. This year, each driver will be treated to a Panera gift card and will receive a special book created by our Amy Belle students. Please encourage your children to voice a “thank you” to their driver as well! Big thanks to our PTA, the Amy Belle teachers, and Mrs. Kohel for making this event special.

PTA Booster - Family Portraits

Reminder that PTA has organized for family portraits to be held on June 4th - June 6th at Richfield Historical Park. Thank you to everyone that participated in our PTA family photo sessions! Your support is appreciated!
