New Expectations
Weekly Updates to Families (sent via class dojo)
All grade level teams are expected to send weekly update newsletters to families every Friday. The purpose of the weekly updates is to foster communication between home and school, elevate upcoming events and important dates, and provide opportunities for families to learn what students are learning. In addition, it will be the expectation of grade level teams to provide resources to families that will enable them to support their children at home with Eureka Math and Benchmark reading homework or additional assignments given by teachers.
Mustang Mornings
Starting this academic year, grade level teams at MHES will have the opportunity to engage in long-range planning once per quarter through designated planning sessions called "Mustang Mornings." These sessions aim to enhance the instructional planning process and ensure alignment with the curriculum standards and assessments.
To find the dates for these Mustang Mornings team meetings, teachers can refer to the master schedule, where they will find a dedicated "Mustang Mornings" tab. Teams need to submit their Mustang Morning agenda to Admin by the Friday prior to your assigned date.
Homework
Meadow Hall has a new required homework policy. Please share your team's plan for homework with administration that align with the guidelines.
Handwriting K-3
Handwriting practice is required in grades K-3
