Blair Oaks would like to salute all Veterans, First Responders, and those currently serving. We would also like to thank Mid-America Bank for providing our Veterans with a prayer card and pin during our Veterans' Day assembly. They also provided our programs for the assembly as well!

Thank you Parents and Community!

We are delivering our supplies and books to Mitchell Elementary this weekend! Riley Chevrolet and Riley Toyota donated money for us to rent a van so we could send two staff members with your generous donations to Texas this weekend.

CANNED FOOD DRIVE!

National Honor Society is sponsoring a canned food drive. Cans will be donated to Salvation Army or Samaritan Center. They extended the deadline to this Tuesday, November 14.

Holiday Dinner

The Blair Oaks R-II School District will be hosting its annual Thanksgiving Dinner on Thursday, November 16, 2017. The meal will be held at Blair Oaks High School from 11:00a.m. - 1:00p.m. If you plan to attend, please contact the High School Office at 635-8514 to make reservations. It would be appreciated if reservations could be made by Monday, November 13th, to assist in meal preparation. The cost of the meal is $3.00. The meal will include all the traditional Thanksgiving fixings. We hope to see you there!

Falcon Wear for sale!

EXCITING NEWS: New Falcon Wear is available through the Blair Oaks Booster Club. Pre-order today! Youth sizes are available now. Order deadline is Friday, November 17th. Orders may be turned in at any Blair Oaks School Office. Items are schedule to arrive prior to Christmas break. Be sure to note your preferred method of pick up on bottom of form. If additional info needed, visit the Booster Club's Facebook page and post questions there.

A Country Hoedown!

Blair Oaks Vocal Music is excited to present their annual Dessert Theater. Come to the truck show and vote for your favorite vehicle. Then, be entertained by country music while indulging in a grand dessert buffet with drinks. Also, enjoy the live and silent auction of signature desserts. This is an afternoon to kick up your heels and have fun! Tickets can be purchased in advance or at the door. See flyers below for more information.

Cookies for Murph!

Blair Oaks High School Cookie Drive

The Jefferson City Community will once again help Maureen Murphy bake cookies for sailors on the USS Murphy, a destroyer based out of Hawaii. The USS Michael Murphy (DDG-112) is named after her son, who is a Medal of Honor recipient, who was killed in action in Afghanistan during 2005. Our goal is to bake a variety of cookies and place them in Ziploc bags and ship them for the sailors.

Please donate money to help pay for shipping cost. Checks should be made payable to: Blair Oaks. Also, gather with your friends and family to bake cookies. Place the cookies in Ziploc bags and bring them to Blair Oaks High School on Wednesday, November 29th. The cookies will be shipped out that night. Any variety of cookie will be greatly appreciated!
