Hollywood Beach School now has a sixth grade co-ed basketball team! If you would like to cheer them on, their games are at the Colonia Gym at the following times:

* January 20th at 5:00 p.m.

* January 27th at 4:00 p.m.

* February 6th at 7:00 p.m.

* February 10th at 3:00 p.m.

Thank you to a parent, Coach Ponce, for organizing and coaching this team of 11 awesome boys and girls. I'm so proud of their hard work!

The Book Fair was a huge success! Thank you to all the parent volunteers who worked so many hours! It was great fun for our students, and a wonderful way to generate excitement for reading.

Please be sure to look up when you pass our cafeteria, and admire our new mural! This beautiful artwork was created by Lisa Kelly, and was funded by a generous neighbor, Judy Dugan! We are so grateful for the gorgeous upgrade to our campus!

On Thursday, January 24th from 6-7 p.m. we will be having a Family Science Night in the cafeteria hosted by Mad Science. Students will have an opportunity to make and take a bouncy ball, and to watch demonstrations with dry ice. It will be a fun filled night of learning for the whole family!
