R-PTLE Weekly Family Communication
Week of November 6th, 2023 (#11)
Dear Families,
Sending this out one day early for an extra day notification. I am only going to highlight the Parent Portal Update notice. Please make this a priority so we can ensure there is no interruption to your student(s) having access to Chromebooks at school. We can see on our end that some account are 0% complete - others are various percentages complete (33%, 66%, 75%, etc...). The point there is you might think it is finished, but it might not be. I sent an email out Friday to those who still need to complete the update.
BIG BIG BIG item - Demographic Updates need to be completed if not done so already.
I am looking forward to a great week of teaching and learning at R-PTLE this week.
Just added:
- Demographic Update - IMPORTANT!!!
- PTO Book Fair all week. Information below.
- Save the Date - All school Musical Event!!!
Sincerely,
Paul Siembida

Power School Demographic Update.
Important!
Updating your demographics in your parent portal is so critical to ensure effective communication, safety, staying informed, Technology User Agreement, and Student Handbook information. Please follow the steps provided in the PDF below. If you already have a portal account the demographic update is fairly simple and straight forward. If you are new and need to create an account follow the steps below. Please call the office for assistance.
Mr. Edwards recently sent out an email for this process to be a priority as student accounts will need to be suspended if user agreements and handbook information is not signed off on. Something we also learned recently is that many of you may think it is completed, but it might not be. We have been able to see that some accounts are 33% completed, or 66% completed, etc... Please check your Parent Portal! Student accounts will be suspended before school starts on Monday if the demographic update has not been completed.

This Month's Theme is Teamwork! We are Better Together!
What does it mean to have Teamwork?
Teamwork is the ability to work in unity with others towards a common goal. For us to learn how to become team players, it is important that we learn to listen, encourage our peers, and allow and invite others to contribute their talents and skills.
We are better together! When we engage in true teamwork and lean on each other for shared knowledge and experiences, we learn more and can achieve more! team spirit at R-PTLE. I have felt it from day one. Let's focus on being a great teammate this month!
