El Dorado High School Chamber Orchestra earned a 2nd division excellent rating on stage and a 1st division superior rating in sight reading at Region III Concert Assessment in Magnolia on March 14th. They have qualified to compete at the State Concert Assessment in April!
CATS Conferences
Calling All To Succeed
EHS will host the 2023 CATS Conferences on Thursday, March 30th. At these individual meetings, teachers will meet with parents and students to discuss future plans, progress towards graduation, and select courses for next year.
If you have a student at EHS, you should have been contacted to schedule a conference. You can call the EHS office to make any changes to your scheduled conference.

Senior Fines
Seniors, please check with Mrs. Carden at the front desk to clear any fines on your account. This must be done prior to graduation.
JROTC Military Ball
JROTC is hosting the 28th Annual Military Ball on 20th May 2023. Tickets will be on sale during each lunch shift and are $20 per person.
All EHS students are invited to attend. Formal wear is required.
FFA
Congratulations to the FFA CDE teams that competed in the southern district contest!
Agronomy- placed 1st in district and will be moving on to state, Ivan Chen came 1st place high individual and won a 1000 dollar scholarship to SAU
Vet Science- placed 3rd in district and will be moving on to state
Dairy Science- placed 4th in district and will be moving on to state
Wildlife Management- placed 6th and will be moving on to state, Matthew Barton came 2nd place high individual
Horse Judging- placed 2nd and will be moving on to state, Drake McAdams came 3rd place high individual
They will compete at State next month.
There will be a brief meeting on Friday, March 31 in room 1510-Mrs. Martindale's room for the FBLA members attending the FBLA State Conference in Little Rock on April 3rd & 4th.
Key Club is taking donations for The Call. They are in need of Baby Soap/Shampoo and Diapers sizes 4, 5, and 6. The Call is a non-profit organization that mobilizes local churches to serve local children and youth placed in foster care.
Senior Student Council members that are interested in applying for the Student Council scholarship need to pick up an application form from Mrs. Richardson between classes. The deadline to apply is April 12.
Thespian Troupe 42
Thespians! Our next meeting will be Tuesday, April 4th at 7:20 in the morning. We will be nominating next years officers, and talking about Thespian Awards and Thespian Induction. Please make a conscious effort to be there!
