Peek at the Week

Friday is an "Early Release Day". So, your child may leave with you after the UIL Awards without any type of attendance penalty.

This is an opportunity for your child to buy gifts on their own and learn the value of a dollar! We have parent volunteers to help as needed when they come to the library. Please send money in an envelope or baggie with a list and mark who your child is shopping for! Doors open (in the library) Monday, December 13th for kids to start shopping! Santa Shop will close on Friday, December 17th. Items in our shop range in price from 25¢ to $10. We will give each class the chance to shop during the school day.

Thanks for supporting your Holliday Elementary PTO!

Last Thursday, we had an elf on our roof! Many of you may have seen the elf during arrival and dismissal times. This elf looked a lot like Mrs. Booker!

Mrs. Booker assured the students at Holliday Elementary that it would not be safe to be on the roof. As many of you may have heard, Santa sends elves to keep a close watch on children. This may have been one of his elves. We will continue to encourage good behavior as we investigate this situation.
