Halloween
This Friday Bear Creek is allowing students (in-person and remote) to dress up. This is completely optional. If they choose to dress up, please avoid weapons/props, costumes that may distract from learning or something that may frighten younger children. In-person students will still be required to wear face masks.
Report cards
Grades are complete for the first nine weeks and report cards should be distributed this week.
Zoom
We encourage students to keep their screens on during class. We understand that there are days where a student may not feel great and doesn't want to have their screen on. We ask that they keep their screens on as much as possible so we can see each other and help build our class community and culture.

What we're doing in class this week...
Week of October 26
ELAR: This week, we will be learning all about inferencing and applying our knowledge with the books we are currently reading! Students will have blend assignments to complete. We went over our vocabulary words today (Port = To Carry) and will have our quiz on Friday.
Social Studies: We are continuing to learn about early colonization and will dive into Plymouth and Roanoke this week! Students will have blend assignments to complete.
Math: This week in math, we are learning about prime and composite numbers. We will understand the difference between multiples and factors. Please check your child's PLP for their assignments this week.
Science: This week in science, we are learning about forces. We will learn about inertia and different forces that act on objects. Please check your child's PLP for their assignments this week.
