We are so excited to return for another remarkable year at Caldwell Arts Academy! This newsletter will be sent out monthly to encourage all families to engage in the happenings at Caldwell. Our community is built on your commitment to our school's success!

This year is going to prove to be something really special. Our staff is preparing to support Caldwell Stars on their quest for excellence in the arts and academics. Last year, despite the many barriers, our students prevailed to demonstrate success across the board. That is what makes our learning environment primed for even more success!

If you are new to our community or returning, we have a place for you! Make sure you become a volunteer and sign up for PTA. One of our campus goals this year is to increase both of these to further our partnerships with families. Be on the lookout for more information!

Overall, Caldwell is just excited to have our Stars back in the building. They make our school shine and give such joy to our vision and mission. It is what makes Caldwell so special!

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE write names on backpacks, lunch boxes, water bottles, jackets, and dance uniforms. We check every item for names so we can return them from the lost and found. The lost and found fills up quickly so we will donate items every nine weeks. When items have names on them, they get returned to their owner.

We offer Youth Yoga Lab for K-5 on Monday mornings at 7:15 and grades 6-8 on Wednesday mornings at 7:15 in the Caldwell Auditorium Gallery.

We will be offering an additional Yoga day for families K-8 on Friday at 7:15!

We will have a Youth Yoga Table set up at open house if you would like to fill out the waiver for the 21-22 school year and sign your student up. We will not require a sign-up genius this year. We will begin yoga classes September 13th.

Middle School Student Schedules will be towards the end of the day on August 9th in the student and parent portal. It will take a day or so to upload to Edugenceso check in the student or parent portal first. All schedules that are uploaded this afternoon are now completed/finalized and all change requests will now follow our process emailed on August 4th. Please refer back to your email you received on August 4th for that process and information that impacts scheduling.

Students that are enrolled in Tennis or Swim in their student schedule need to be prepared to have proof of physical first day to play/swim. Students enrolled in athletics also need to have a physical completed. Remember, physicals are good for 2 years.

Tennis: Tennis students need to be dropped off at Legacy on first day of school ready to play at 8 am. The bus will then take students to Caldwell for second period. Bring tennis raquet, water bottle, and shoes acceptable for tennis court. Make sure and join SportYou by dowloading the app: https://sportsyou.app or go to the website https://www.sportsyou.com/. The code for tennis is SGLF-HQ4U. You should be able to join with that code.

You will also need to set up a rank one account through https://tylerisd.rankonesport.com/New/NewInstructionsPage.aspx. That is where you will upload your child's physical.

Swim: Be ready to swim first day. Bus takes students from Caldwell at the end of 7th period and takes them to the CTC pool. Parents need to pick up student at 4:15 from CTC pool. Coach Petty will use remind 101 and email to communicate for swim. Please have a physical completed by first day of school. A physical is good for two years. All physicals will need to be emailed to Jason.Petty@tylerisd.org and he will get it to the athletic trainers.

• Canvas and Clever login tabs are located in the top right corner of the District home page and each campus home page;
  
• Additional District information, such as the District calendars, students and family links, and community links are also under the Menu tab;
