Miscoe Hill Weekly Update
January 18. 2021
The following is a copy of the hybrid schedule for this week.
The National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) will begin for 8th grade students this upcoming spring. Due to Remote Learning in the spring of 2020 that resulted in only Pass/Fail grading, slight changes have been made for determining if students qualify.
Grades used for qualifying an 8th grader for NJHS 2020-2021 are as follows:
From 6th Grade: Grades from all 4 terms (same as previous years)
From 7th Grade: Grades from Terms 1 & 2
From 8th Grade: Grades from Terms 1 & 2
Eighth grade students will be notified during Term 3 as to whether they are eligible. We look forward to working with our NJHS students this year!

We are thrilled to announce registration is open for the Girls STEM Summit LIVE 2021 - a new, live, online format! This year's Girls STEM Summit LIVE 2021 will take place on two half-day Saturdays: Saturday, April 3rd, and Saturday, April 10th, from 8:30 AM - 12:00 PM, both days.
Jr.Tech is passionate and committed to inspiring the next generation of female STEM professionals and helping to close the Gender Gap in STEM careers. That is why Jr.Tech steadfastly researched, transitioned, and is committed to bringing a LIVE online summit via Zoom due to today’s challenging in-person restrictions.
Students will be experiencing the same exciting STEM learning as they have in years past. They will hear a keynote from a leading STEM female professional, experience four featured STEM career topics, and hear from college experts on advice and tips on applying to a STEM college degree program.
