Principal's Message
Happy Memorial Day Weekend!
What a wonderful school year we have enjoyed together. Your children have all grown so much this year. We are excited to enjoy field day Tuesday. Please send your student to school ready to play outside with good running shoes!
Remember that Tuesday is our last full length school day. Wednesday, Thursday & Friday will all be minimum days and Friday is our last day of school for this school year.
This summer the custodial staff and myself will be busy working with our Maker Space parent team to prepare and organize our new creation space to open in the fall. We have raised close to 6.000 dollars through the panther prowl and the school dIstrict has committed another $2,000 to support this innovative program. Additionally, they have committed to provide all schools a new chrome book cart. This cart will live in the maker space and can be used for coding and other digital projects to support STEAM activities. STEAM is an acronym for Science, Technology, Engineering, Art & Math. We are well on our way and I am soooo excited for next year!
If you would like to help us fulfill the Patterson Maker Space vision please look below for ways to contribute. You can donate directly on my school bucks and choose the general school fund, or you can donate items from your house hold that you no longer need, or you could send us items from our maker space wish list on Amazon. Additionally, we would love for you to get involved! See our survey below!
With Warm Regards,
Sincerely,
Kristin Dil
Principal
The Last Day of school will be our last spirit day!

Enrollment 23/24 School Year
Please watch for a “FALL 2023-2024 Reservation/Registration Form” to be mailed home soon for each student currently enrolled in TK – 6 th grades. The form will not be handed out to parents and serves 2 purposes: it reserves a spot for your child next year at Patterson and also fulfills the District’s mandated annual residency verification via USPS. Please don’t mistake the letter for junk mail and toss it out!
For students who will be moving on to Middle School next year, Patterson will collect the form and proofs and communicate with the Thornton Middle School to confirm a space will be reserved for next year. By submitting the required form and Residency Proofs by February 24th, your child will be reserved a space for next year.
*The forms must be returned to the school that your student currently is attending; if you have a student overloaded to another elementary school, please return it there.
