Calling our Community!!
Starting in the Spring, we are looking to provide students with more opportunities during Academic Enrichment. During these 35 minutes Monday - Friday, we would like to offer:
- Foreign language or sign language
- Math skills - such as budgeting, fluency, etc..
- Support with writing competitions
- Academic tutoring
- Book clubs
- Soft skills training
- Career exploration
- Maybe high schoolers doing community service for Honor Society, etc..
- FFA or 4H Activities
- Debate
- Service-Learning Projects
- Coding
- Readers Theater
With such a small staff, we need community support. Are you or someone you know interested in volunteering? Do you have an important skill that you could share with kiddos for a month? A week? Or even just a day?
If you're interested, please email me: Anita Martos at amartos@lcps.net.
We will get you scheduled!!

Cell Phone Policies (Please continue to remind your student.)
If your child does not feel well, please tell them they need to come see the nurse and she will contact you if they need to be picked up. Students should not be calling or texting parents during the day unless it is from the office with an adult present.
Cell phones can be a huge distraction at school and we need your help to address this very real problem.
