Nuts & Bolts
Week of February 26, 2018
Thank you!
Thank you to Kacee, especially, and everyone for supporting each other last week. Thank you to Nicoletta and Amy for representing MMA well during their presentation at MEPI. I'm not gonna lie, it was beautiful in South Carolina and I didn't realize how much I missed the ocean. Attending the MEPI Conference was an informative and a beautiful experience for me. I am so happy to learn more and more about Montessori and feel blessed to be a part of this amazing and powerful community.
I'm excited for Literacy Week and can't wait to see the committee's planning and vision unfold this week. Have a wonderful week!
Construction Update
No news is good news.
High Five!
Leo from Ms. Marleen's class had some excellent moments of success recently and deserves recognition. He presented a wonderful home project on Richard Nixon that he worked on with his dad, full of interesting information. He also helped another student with a math work and presented the concept beautifully.
Timely Email Responses
If you are sending an email for my information and do not require my input or response, please CC me on it. If you would like my acknowledgement or response, please add me in the TO line.
I wish I was able to return emails within 24 hours and I may get there some day; but, today is not that day. Thank you for your patience.
Intents Due!
Thank you!

Fire Drill Last Week
From this point forward, we will make a whole school announcement stating, "This is a drill" right before the fire alarm is pulled. In light of recent school tragedies, we thought it would be best for all involved if we gave that information right before the drill. The drills for the remainder of the year will still be unannounced.
Congratulations!
