AIG Updates
- Please email me at sarah_jamieson@dpsnc.net to contribute to the monthly "Enrichment Strategies for All Students" section of this newsletter. The Student Achievement Committee of the School Improvement Team would love to share any enrichment strategies that you use in your classroom (both virtual and in-person) with the rest of the Neal staff so that we can best serve all of our students!
- If you are interested in serving on the AIG Leadership committee, please send me an email at sarah_jamieson@dpsnc.net. I am still specifically in need of a 7th grade representative.
- If you have students that you think have potential for AIG identification, please feel free to email me their names at any time. The district is hoping to start testing in February.
- See document below for a quick guide to AIG referral.
Attention 8th grade teachers:
Please see the attached flyers (below) for information about an Advanced Placement Family Information Night for rising 9th graders and their families. Please get the word out to your students about this important event.

January's Enrichment Strategy for All Students: Interest Centers
Centers are a great way to engage students in interest based enrichment. While traditionally the centers would be located in the physical classroom. Zoom breakout rooms could be utilized to facilitate virtual interest centers. Please see the following links for more information about interest centers and their benefits:
