Wiley Elementary Newsletter

Can you believe that it is already October! I am excited to begin sharing a monthly Wiley Elementary Newsletter out to staff, students, parents, and community members. There are so many great things happening inside our school that we should be very proud of. The intentions for these monthly newsletters are to help inform and highlight happenings throughout our elementary.

I am open to suggestions and would be glad to hear some feedback from staff, students, parents, and community members. If you have suggestions you would be willing to share, please email them to dusty.eikenberg@wileyschool.org.

The elementary has decided to begin recognizing one student per grade level each month as our Wiley Elementary Student of the Month. Below are the students that were selected as August/September Students of the Month. We are very proud of each of these students and are happy to recognize them. They certainly deserve the recognition.

Kindergarten: Riata Mick

* Recognized for being a great listener and a helpful classmate.

First Grade: Chelsey Lubber

* Recognized for her willingness to lend a helping hand and having a positive attitude.

Second Grade: Rayden Parrish

* Recognized for being polite to all classmates and being a great helper for the substitute.

Third Grade: London Esparza

* Recognized for being respectful and working hard in class.

Fourth Grade: Felix Thomas

* Recognized for bringing out the best in others and showing strong leadership characteristics.

Fifth Grade: Lillian Cappetti

* Recognized for staying focused and on task in class and setting great examples for classmates.

Please join us for an evening of fun and games to celebrate the end of the 1st Quarter. Games and activities will be held in the Elementary School in various locations/classrooms. Each student will be limited to ONE pumpkin to carve and ONE cookie to decorate. There will be a limited number of both pumpkins and cookies, and will be given out on a first come first serve basis.

The students have been practicing diligently and are excited to share what they have been working on in Music. Please join us for an Elementary Fall Concert to showcase our students. More information will be coming home from Miss Carty very soon, so please be on the lookout for that.
