Nonfiction and fiction audiobooks were added this summer--with more to come this year! Tales2Go audiobooks are also in AEA Scout.

In case you missed the discussion on SLIK-12 this summer, here is the order form for Newspapers in Education with the DM Register.

WUSA9 reported that school librarians are now in all 36 buildings to help address the literacy gap.

Teachers in the Heartland AEA service area are now registering to receive about 25 books (fiction and non-fiction) every six weeks during the school year.

• Return the book rotation box, and another selection is automatically sent.
• Books are on-level and one grade above and one grade level below reading level.
• Book rotation supplements your school library resources and provides a rotating classroom collection.

In addition to the rotation service, teachers are welcome to call or email the Heartland AEA library and request books by theme. For example, 10 books of ecosystems for grade 5 with a few books at a lower reading level. We'll send them on the van along with a list of the titles and return dates--makes it easier to check the books as your students return them to the teacher. Don't forget that we also have excellent digital resources--ebooks, audiobooks, video, and more--to supplement the books that students have in-hand.
