• Tuesday, November 14th from 3:30 - 7 PM
• AND Wednesday, November 15th from 8:50 - 9:50 AM

• Parents and students will be able to sign up to meet with their teacher in 10-minute blocks of time through myDSD.
• These digital meetings will occur in Teams.
• Teachers will let parents know how they will be meeting, via email the day before.
• If additional time is needed to meet with an individual teacher, we encourage parents to contact their student's teacher by email.
• If you are unable to sign up to meet with me through myDSD, reach out via email to reschedule an appointment manually. (ALC students/parents)

• Friday, November 10th was MIDTERM for Term 2
• Grades were available to view on myDSD after 3 PM
• NOTE: all OC and Advisory students will receive an "S" in citizenship, unless communicated beforehand.
  
• If you have questions regarding your midterm grade, please let me know.

• There will be no extension(s) for Term 1.
• If you did NOT pass a particular class at Davis Connect, please consider looking into either retaking the course via a la carte (ALC) or credit recovery (CR).

• If you choose the ALC option, you will earn an 'F' on your transcripts for the current term, register for ALC T1, and then complete a grade replacement form when registering for the term (you get this from your counselor).
• At that point, you will be able to have your 'F' replaced with whatever you earn in the ALC class.

• Canvas is always the most up to date and accurate grade.
• There is a nightly import between Canvas and myDSD.
• If you complete something in Canvas and do not see the change in your myDSD grade within 2 - 3 days, please reach out.

• Did you complete the honors content for Term 1, 2, 3, or 4?
• If YES, honors credit will be posted on your grades at SEMESTER for both 1st and 2nd term.
• Honors credit for 3rd and 4th Term will be posted at the end of the school year.

• PLEASE NOTE, there is a little bit of a delay on this being posted. Give it sometime and let me know if you don't see it on your transcripts!

• To sign up for HONORS CREDIT for core classes, the student will sign up for the regular core (English, Math, Science, Social Studies) ALC/IS/OC class and request from the teacher to be assigned the Honors module.
• Students who complete the Honors module for the class and fulfill the Honors requirements, will have a change of designation to Honors made on their transcript.
  
• PLEASE make sure to let me know for WHAT TERM(s) you are wanting to complete the honors content.

• She is specifically working with CR and IS STUDENTS, however you are more than welcome to reach out to her if you are not able to work out a time to meet with me due to scheduling conflicts.
