School newsletters with family-friendly activities are an easy way to stay in touch over summer.

Our Fourth of July template kicks off with a great quote from Eleanor Roosevelt — click on the quote itself and you’ll find a list of 50 inspiring July 4th quotations. Parents could ask every member of the household to pick their favorite and share what it means to them, or illustrate it, or both!

It’ll make for a lively family dinner discussion 🙂

Since it’s a long weekend, everyone needs ideas for family-friendly activities

We share two links with all kinds of suggestions. The first details some of the more unusual regional ways folks celebrate the holiday & the second has a (more standard) list of fun ideas. Then we’ve got links for arts & crafts, and for red, white, & blue recipes. We’ve embedded an easy video explanation of the holiday for elementary age kids.

You can get started with it here! Just click to duplicate, personalize, & send.
