Pool Managers
Loyalsock Township is hiring a Pool Manager and Assistant Manager to oversee the staff and daily operations at the Loyalsock Community Pool. Candidates should be hardworking, highly organized, and enjoy working with the public. Previous management experience is a plus but is not required. This is an hourly paid position. The pay rate is $13.00 - $17.00 per hour depending on experience. If you are interested in this position, please contact the Recreation Department at 570-567-7525. Please join me in congratulating John Nickolaus, who was chosen as Loyalsock's final Student of the Quarter for the 2021-22 school year.
The Williamsport/Lycoming Chamber of Commerce oversees the “Student of the Quarter” program for all of the local districts. The “Student of the Quarter” program is designed to honor students from the local schools for their academic excellence, character, and positive impact on our school district.
Grace Shaible and Kathryn Schluter were also named a Student of the Quarter earlier this year.

- Loves being outdoors. In the summer she can often be found hiking, paddle-boarding, playing beach volleyball, or just sitting outside reading.
- She has a goal to visit every US national park. She's only been to 5 so far, but has plans to go to Zion, Olympic, and Glacier in two years. She will be going to Acadia this year.
- Big fan of Jeopardy and trivia games in general.
- Has a yearly goal to reach 20 novel-length books outside of school. She's read 8 so far this year.

PMEA State Festival
Congratulations to Ian Hornberger for earning the spot of 2nd Chair in Tuba at the PMEA State Festival. In addition, Ian was featured in a solo in one of the Ensemble performances.

Three one-act shows, directed by LTHS seniors and performed by Drama Club students, will be performed in one evening. After Math, a dramedy, is directed by John Nickolaus. Blues, a drama, is directed by Aaron French. The Seussification of Romeo & Juliet, a comedy, is directed by Maia Patchett.

Sports Physicals for the 2022-2023 School Year
Online registration will be open starting June 1, 2022. Section 6 - Health History MUST be completed prior to the physical for the doctor to review.
If you have previously played a sport, please be sure to click here to log in to your Big Teams account and update your account. Please note the following important items:
- Do NOT create a new account. You will need to reuse your previous credentials in order to be registered correctly.
- If you do not recall your previous credentials, use the "Forgot Password" link. If your email address does not trigger a password recovery email, try using your mobile phone number, and vice versa. If you continue to have log in trouble, contact the Athletic Department at 570-326-3581 ext. 1300.
- Once logged in, click on Athletic Forms and select the sports you and/or your student will be participating in.
- Complete and sign all the pre-participation forms. Please note: "Re-Use Document" buttons are displayed within forms that have been completed in previous years, allowing parent/student the ability to update necessary information prior to submitting the form for the new year. If you do not see this button, you must complete the form again for each school year.

Student accounts have already been created by the Athletic Department. Your student can log in to their account using their school email and the password "bigteams" Once logged in, they should click on Link Accounts and send an invite to the parents' email or cell that will be completing the online registration. Once the invitation is received by the parent, please click on the link and you will be guided to create your parent account and complete/sign the required athletic forms. If you have any troubles, please do not hesitate to contact the Athletic Office for assistance at 570-326-3581 ext. 1300.

Just a reminder the student activity fee of $50.00 per school year is required for each
student who participates in a sport. Unpaid “Pay-to-Play” annual fees will carry over each year. Seniors must satisfy this financial obligation before receiving his/her diploma. This fee can be paid online through your Big Teams account or you can pay by cash or check. Please make checks payable to LTSD and deliver to the HS office.

Please be sure to visit our NEW WEBSITE to view team schedules, photos, Announcements, events, etc. Don't forget, while visiting the website, to sign up for your own "Fan Account" so you can stay up to date with all your team’s schedules and scores. You can also download your favorite teams schedule right to your own personal calendar. Just find your teams calendar, click on subscribe and follow the instructions. Changes to events, including day, time, location, etc., will automatically be updated on your personal devices.

Business Computer Information and Technology
Loyalsock Township School District anticipates this position beginning the 2022-2023 school year.

Qualification include: a valid PA teaching certificate in the area of Business, Computer, and Information Technology or Computer Science; expertise in introductory and advanced business curriculum topics, computer programs and educational applications; knowledge and understanding of best instructional practices and strategies to ensure high student engagement and rigor that creates a strong learning culture; efficient in utilizing a learning management platform; excellent oral and written communication skills.
The successful candidate will provide instruction to students within the Business Department curricula. Course offerings may include, but are not limited to: Computer Science I and II, Video Game Design, Entrepreneurship, Information Technology and Middle School business and computer technology classes.

Part-time Food Service Workers
Loyalsock Township School District Food & Nutrition Services has an immediate need for part-time food service workers.
Rate of Pay: $10/hr (based on experience)
Shifts available are:
7:00 am – 12:30 pm
9:00 am – 2:15 pm
10:30 am - 2:00 pm
Experience preferred, but we are willing to train individuals who have a passion for working
with students and promoting a healthy school food environment.
Excellent customer service skills required.
Physical requirements may include standing for long periods of time; pushing,
pulling and lifting up to and in excess of 40 pounds.

Student Parking and Parking Passes
2. Students found parking in the faculty/student parking spaces will be subject to revocation of parking pass and towing at student’s expense.
3. If a lot is filled, you may park along Loyalsock Drive.
4. Safe and proper driving on school property is mandatory.
5. A $5 non-refundable deposit (cash) is required to receive a permit (hangtag) to park. If you lose your permit, you must pay for another one.
