Morning Traffic Patterns
In an effort to maximize the safest traffic pattern possible, we will continue with the traffic pattern exercised for the past several years. In the morning, families / caregivers who drive their students to school may choose to either pull up to the designated “car drop off zone”, which is located on the “school side” of Duffy (southbound) and let their child exit the car on the passenger side or park on Kildare or Kolin and walk their child to their designated arrival spot. Cars will not be able to park along Duffy or they will be ticketed. NO CARS will be allowed in the school parking lots during arrival and dismissal times. Students are expected to report to their designated line-up areas (see arrival procedures).
Intramurals
If you are interested in signing up for the park district, please see the attached flyer.
MAP Testing
Our school will MAP test on Monday, August 28th and Tuesday, August 29th. Please make sure your child's chromebook is charged and they have eaten a good breakfast. They will also need HEADPHONES for this test!!!!!!!
Dismissal Procedures
When school is dismissed at 3:20 pm, students are able to walk home, line up in the gym for their bus, or meet their parents/ caregivers outside of the school. Older children who walk younger siblings or neighbors should meet them in a prearranged location outside of the building and will be dismissed first in order to pick up their sibling or relative. We ask that parents DO NOT park in the back lot to pick up children. Families should park on Kildare or Kolin.
School Bus Loading Zone
Our two school buses load and unload near Door 19 (gym doors) in the morning and in the afternoon. It is illegal to pass a school bus when the stop sign is out. Please remember our students’ safety is our number one priority! Please watch for the flashing lights and stop when appropriate. Please check skyward for busing information on Wednesday, August 16th.
Open House
