It's Google Time
PLCS...Google Great
What’s all this talk about Google?
PLCS will slowly be transitioning to the Google platform away from Office 365. For some this news is super exciting and way overdue. For others, this news is scary and creates lots of questions. Over the next 10 weeks you will be receiving this weekly “Friday Google Facts”. The goal of this publication is to answer your questions and fully explain the transition plan to Google. We want to give every staff member the tools they need to help make this transition as smooth as possible.
WHAT ARE SOME OF THE DIFFERENCES BETWEEN GMAIL AND OUTLOOK?
Things to note:
● Primary signature in Outlook will migrate over to Gmail
● Out of Office reply in Outlook will migrate to vacation responder in Gmail
● Currently flagged emails in Outlook will migrate as standard emails in Gmail
● Read receipts are not supported in Gmail

Testimonial
"My prior district used Google and it was so friendly to learn and use. Everything about it is easy and seamless. It seems like Google was made for the Education World. So excited that PLCS is moving in this direction."
- Gretchen Kalkowski, Anderson Grove Elementary Instructional Coach
