Tuesday's Tech Tip!!

The Chrome Web Store is an upcoming online store for web applications, owned by Google. It was announced at the Google I/O conference on May 19, 2010 by Vic Gundotra. The software will allow users to install and run web applications unique to Google Chrome, executed from convenient shortcuts.

Use this plug in to access your Google Apps from any tab. This extension is meant to be a replacement for both, iGoogle and the quickly removed google menu. This extension contains an extensive menu of google services. You can access them by browsing through the black menu entries. By clicking the menu entry of your choice, you'll go to the corresponding google service in a new tab.

PanicButton makes it easier for you to hide all of your tabs at once just by clicking on a button. They are then saved as bookmarks in a separate folder. Afterwards, the PanicButton turns green and shows you how many tabs are currently hidden. Another click on the PanicButton restores all of the tabs you have hidden earlier.
