It's mid-winter break time, and as the meteorologists are forecasting, it's more like Spring Break. So get outside and enjoy the weather as a family. I've even heard of a couple of golf courses being open! Enjoy the 4 day weekend.

On Tuesday, March 21st at 6:00PM in the Merton Intermediate School Little Theater, Arrowhead superintendent Laura Myrah will be hosting a presentation and question/answer session for our community regarding their upcoming spring referendum. This meeting will occur immediately before the School Board Candidate Forum which will begin at 7:00PM.

The PTO and School District would like to invite you to an Arrowhead School Board Candidate Forum on Tuesday, March 21st at 6:30PM in the Merton Intermediate School Little Theater. This April, the Merton seat on the Arrowhead School Board is up for re-election. We have two candidates who will be on the ballot; Amy Hemmer and Joe LeBlanc. Please join the candidates and our community on March 21st for this candidate forum.

How to Purchase Tickets:

1. Go to www.spotlight.org

2. Click on "SHOWS"

3. Click on "BUY TICKETS NOW"

4. Find Aladdin Junior for February- pick the date and show time you want

5.Pick how many tickets, your name on the ticket

6. Please put Allie Farris as the Name of who you heard about the tickets so that all the Merton kids get credit.

7. Purchase Tickets & enjoy the show!!!

Make sure to mark your calendars for Trivia Night on Saturday, March 4th at Bristlecone Pines. We'll begin at 5:30 with social time and the start of the silent auction, 7:00 for dinner and 8:00 for trivia. Visit this link for more information and to sign up.

On Monday, I was able to shadow two students. I shadowed Ashley, a 6th grader, in the morning and then I shadowed Emily, a 7th grader in the afternoon. I did it as a challenge from a group of principals that I'm connected with on Twitter and Voxer (If you'd like to know more about Twitter or Voxer, please let me know!). Here is a blog I wrote about my experiences in class. Thanks to Mrs. Johnson, Miss Koch, Mr. Pomeroy, Miss Depies, Mrs. Hess, and Miss Francoeur for letting me shadow in their classrooms.
