John King - Director At Large - 74B
John and Judy have been married for 48 years. Judy was a full time mother to their five children. They have six grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and one great great grandson. Their pride and joy is a rescue dog, named Baby!
John and Judy arrived here April 3, 2021. They originally rented unit #741. Within two weeks, they had signed a purchase contract for unit #74B. Date of closing was June 7, 2021. They are enjoying their time here and are full-time residents.
Due to several construction concerns with many of the property owners, John felt that he would be very helpful on the Board of Directors because of his past work experience as a building contractor. John was a licensed general building contractor/architecture in the state of California from 1976 through 1992. John also was a part of the first moon flight when he worked at NASA.
He started his construction career as an apprentice carpenter in Brevard County, Florida, with the Local Carpenter's Union in 1958, and then moved to California in 1970. John and Judy moved to Colorado in 1984, where he continued in the construction business. He also became a Colorado state licensed real estate broker. He then relocated to Florida in 2021 as a retiree.
CLOUT BEGAN BALCONY CONSTRUCTION PROJECT ON December 13, 2024
We have completed negotiations with the contractor who will be building the balcony decks and have a fully executed Addendum to the original contract. Your Board has also secured a loan increase from Valley Bank in the amount of $225,000 that will cover the cost of the increases in the contract amount.
A representative from Clout visited our office today to announce that the construction of balconies at Bermuda Bay will commence on Wednesday, December 13, 2023. The following day, we expect the delivery of construction materials and a portable toilet to the designated area at the rear of the property.
Please be advised that all items on decks and balconies of the affected buildings must be removed by 5:00 PM on Friday. Failure to comply will result in a removal fee.
The construction schedule is as follows: Building 68, followed by 72, 65, and then 70.
This development is a testament to the dedication and hard work of the Bermuda Bay board and our attorney, Paul Terry. We are excited about this step towards enhancing Bermuda Bay.

Christmas Eve Caroling is BACK!
How this works:
Those caroling meet at the clubhouse at sunset then we start heading to the homes that want us to stop by and carol at. In return those people provide us with a cordial or Hors d'oeuvre then we move on to the next condo. Even if you are caroling you can still arrange to have caroling stop at your place. When we are all done we will meet back at the clubhouse and have a cookie exchange. For those who wish to be a part of the cookie exchange please make sure you bring a plate of cookies to share to the clubhouse before caroling starts. If you want to carol or you want caroling to stop by your place please PM Michelle at michelle.lubotina@hhglobal.com

Also, a few people requested hats with the logo. Please let me know the generic name of the style you like. I looked at hats and of course they come in several styles. I'll be glad to order a few, but need to know what you want. Also, they are a bit expensive (I'm not a hat wearer so was quite surprised), but lovely with our beautiful logo. I have also had requests for hoodies. Let me know of any interest in hats and hoodies.
Thank you so much for supporting our fundraiser! And, of course, donations to the landscaping are always welcome! Can't wait to get started on the updating of the landscape around the bay pool area.

WORK ORDER SYSTEM - THAT MAKES "WORK REQUESTS" EASIER FOR YOU
Recently I've been alerted to the fact that several work orders have been closed prematurely, without the work being fully completed or even started in some cases. While it's fine to submit new work orders, a more efficient approach would be for owners to email me directly at bbbmanager@condominiumassociates.com and let me know the condition of the work. This way, I can reopen the existing orders. Reopening helps maintain the chronological order of the queue and preserves any existing notes or photos attached to the original work order.
Please continue to log all your requests and needs through work orders. We are now holding daily meetings to prioritize and ensure efficient, timely completion of these tasks.
Let's keep moving forward into the beautification of the property!

Who knows if there will be any scheduled programming for New Year's Eve
With the resignation of the Social Chair, it is unknown if any organized events will still take place for New Year's Eve. Be on the lookout for email blasts if anything gets organized.
Many of us will join on the beach to celebrate and bring some good cheer into 2024! It is understood that Gulfport will be shooting off some fireworks. We have been informed that Donnie will NOT be shooting out any on December 31.
