Athletic Update
Congrats to our NMS Wrestlers!
Lelan Nelson, Breckin Campbell, Shane Falasca, Max Martin, Gavin McInnis, and Liam Paulley participated in the IESA State Finals this past Saturday. It was an incredible tournament for the Knights and all wrestled well. The team placed 11th out of 72 class A teams! Congratulations to Breckin Campbell, 2023 IESA State Champion 185 weight class and Shane Falasca, 2023 IESA State Champion 215 pound weight class. The night ended with the Richmond Police and Fire Department escorting the team back to the middle school with lights and sirens. This is the first time in our school’s history to have two state champions. Congratulations to the entire wrestling team for a fantastic season.
POPLAR GROVE VINTAGE WINGS AND WHEELS MUSEUM AIR ACADEMY
April 12 to May 17 the Vintage Wings and Wheels Museum will hold AIR ACADEMY 2023. The six week course offers Middle Schoolers the opportunity to expand their knowledge and gain experience through programs and hands-on training. The classes will be on Wednesday evenings from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM. The six session course will teach Aviation Adventurers that the sky is the limit when it comes to careers in aviation.
