The staff and students are enjoying the 12 Days of Holiday Spirit. One of the things that Mill Valley prides itself on is helping out our community. Once again we are collecting specific items that people are in need of this holiday season. Our student council members are counting daily and in the process of building a holiday tree with all of the donations. We appreciate all who have donated so far!

Thinking Students...Changing the World!

If you happen to have any cardboard tubes from empty paper towel rolls, gift wrapping paper, etc., would you please consider donating them to the art room? Mrs. Owens needs a whole bunch of them to complete a sculpture project. Send them to school with your child and they can drop them off in the art room!

The holiday season can be a stressful time for both adults and children. Stress can decrease our ability to fight off illness, contributing to increased absences from school. Here’s an article from VeryWell Family about Preventing Holiday Stress and Anxiety in Children.

The 2023-24 calendar has been approved. Please note, similar to the 2017-18 school year, we will have an earlier start than usual given major construction projects occurring at two of our schools. The first day of school is August 24th, 2023 and the last day will be May 30th, 2024

The Department of Health Services (DHS) has provided schools with at-home COVID-19 test kits to distribute to staff and families. If you would like to pick up a kit please stop by your school’s Heath Office. Kits will be limited to one kit per household member at the time of each pick-up.
