The State FIRST Lego League competition was held on March 13th. The Adair Warrior Lego team competed by submitting videos of their robot performance, a presentation of their innovation project, and a presentation for their robot design and programs. Then, they completed an interview process with the judges through ZOOM. The team was awarded 2nd place in State.

The 6th grade STEM LAB class has begun the BMX bike project. They will spend the next 2 weeks learning how to assemble and maintain a bicycle. They will also do several experiments to learn and reinforce Science and Math concepts learned in class. The curriculum consists of making tables and graphs to display and analyze the data they collect. They will experiment with different tire pressures, seat heights, and tire treads to study how it affects the efficiency of the bike.

This federally funded program is AVAILABLE TO ANYONE; you do not have to be American Indian to qualify. Qualifying families will receive approximately $30 of free food per child per month for May, June, and July. Benefits are on an EBT card (works like a debit card) that allows you to purchase healthy food for the summer.
