Read more, know more.
The 37days Book Club provides a focus.
This is a unique reading circle.
For people who like to read, and think, in community.
We gather, virtually, around the campfire and tell stories, talk about what we've read, and get insights from a diverse group (70 people and growing) who each come at the fiction and nonfiction we read from a different space, a different vantage point.
In 2013, the theme for the 37days Book Club will be "Women's Voices," so we will read the novels and short stories and memoirs and nonfiction by women from around the world. From Cambodia to Nigeria and beyond, we will hear the voices of women in 2013.
Here are a few of the books the 37days Book Club read, loved, and discussed in 2012:
As part of the 37days Book Club, you will have access to a private online community for conversation about what we're reading (on Facebook at the moment), online chats about the books, and a monthly call in which we can have more detailed conversation about the books (first Wednesday of each month from 7-8pm Eastern, hosted by author Patti Digh). Those calls will be recorded and provided in mp3 format if you can't join the conversation live.
