Looking to get a jump on Christmas presents? The Hemlock Athletic Department is holding a water bottle fundraiser now until winter break.

These water bottles/tumblers come in navy or pink and can be customized with a jersey # or first name on the front and a last name on the back. This keeps others from guessing who's bottle is who's.

Samples are available in the high school office to view. There is a quick turn around on the orders so no waiting for weeks or months to get your order back. All order forms should be turned into the high school office as well.

Hemlock Public School District honors the recognition of Coach Adam Clark in being selected as one of the head football coaches for our region.

Coach Clark shared, “I'm honored. We had incredible kids to coach, from amazingly supportive parents. I'd happily trade this distinction for the District Championship, but as far as awards go, there is nothing better than to receive recognition from your coaching peers. I view this as a Hemlock Football Coaching Staff award. I'm surrounded by great men that work hard at football, are outstanding role models, and are the ultimate examples of TEAM. Any award of mine is theirs too."

Hemlock’s varsity football finished with an undefeated regular season and ended their season in the district final.

“The coaching staff worked tirelessly behind the scene to create a game plan that suited the strength of our squad. Thank you to Coach Clark and his staff, and their families for working so hard outside of Friday nights to have the team prepared to be successful,” said Principal Green.

Once again Hemlock High School is a drop-off location for Toys for Tots. New, unwrapped toys can be brought to the front lobby of the high school during office hours, 7am-3:30pm. The collection is through December 11th.

There are some traditions that even COVID-19 cannot stop! The Hemlock Business Association is excited to announce their third annual Christmas wreath decorating contest and raffle, “Festival of Wreaths”. This tradition is a local favorite.

To purchase tickets, visit local participating businesses or attend the Holiday Market at the Richland Township Park on December 4, 2020 starting at 4:00 p.m. Winners selected at 6:30 p.m., attendance is not required to win. Tickets are $1 each or six for $5.

(11/16) For those wondering- the December 4th holiday market and wreath raffle are still on. Masks will be required, the pavilion will be closed with heavy curtains but fresh air will still help with keeping a safer area, social distancing will be expected. Thanks and hoping you will join use at this event! We have a number of our regular farmers market vendors as well as several local Hemlock vendors. Woody’s hot dogs will be joining us also.
