Traditionally the Hyde-Addison PTA has covered a majority of the school’s operating budget so that DCPS funds can be used on staffing, and the Great Envelope Race is the PTA’s first big fundraiser of the year! In a normal year, we’d give you a blue envelope and you’d return it to your teacher or the office with whatever amount you chose to donate. But this year isn’t normal.
This year the Great Envelope Race will be 100% online at www.hydegift.com for one-time donations or www.hydemonthlygift.com for recurring donations. We will be tracking and reporting on funds raised and % participation through the end of this campaign on Friday 12/11/20.
The fundraising goal for the Great Envelope Race is $25,000 with a suggested donation of $400 per family. However, donations in any amount are greatly appreciated, as 100% participation is the ultimate goal. Funds are still needed to provide the resources our kids need, despite the current virtual learning format. Please don’t delay your gift.
