Message from Nurse Mando
Thank you to everyone who continues to send in updated physical forms and immunization records. Letters regarding missing health documents have gone out. Please reach out to Nurse Mando if you have questions on these to ensure that your child’s health file is complete.
Just a reminder with holidays coming up, our school wellness policy aims to keep food out of classrooms as much as possible due to various food allergies. If you would like to send any items into the classroom, please talk to the teacher first and opt for non-food items to help keep everyone safe.
As the weather gets cooler and fluctuates, please remember to have the children layer up for outdoor play as necessary. Coughing and runny noses are pretty standard at this time of year, but please make sure to keep your children home if they are unwell and need rest to fully recover. Let’s all do our part to encourage proper and frequent hand washing, coughing away from others and into the elbows, and using tissues to prevent spreading classroom germs as much as possible! Wishing everyone a happy and healthy fall season!
As always, please feel free to reach Nurse Mando if you have any questions or concerns: smando@wbridgewater.com or 508-894-1232 ext. 2122.
Wildcat Toy Drive!
In partnership with the West Bridgewater Fire Department , West Bridgewater Public Schools, and the West Bridgewater PTO, we are having a Toy Drive to gather toys and gift cards for local West Bridgewater families in need. (Ages of the children range from 5 to 17.) Last year, we assisted approximately 50 West Bridgewater families.
If you would like to donate, please drop an unwrapped toy or gift card to the police or fire station lobby. Or if you have a school aged child, please have them bring the item to their school. There will be collection bins at each location. If you schedule a Santa visit in December through the West Bridgewater Police Department, please consider donating an item for Santa to bring back to the police department that night.
Any questions, please contact our School Resource Officer, Officer Pope at tpope@wbpd.com or 508-586-2525 ext 5119.
