We debuted some new awards at Westwood today! Some students received a "howling with pride" award for displaying great character, and they got a Westwood wristband to show off! We will continue these each week in order to recognize kids who are making positive choices, being good friends, being respectful, persevering, etc.
The mobile food pantry is coming to Westwood Tuesday to drop off free food! Come anytime between 3:30 and 4:15 to get some groceries.
The flu shot clinic is this upcoming Thursday- we will dry any tears and give hugs as needed!
Next week is Fire Safety Week; there are some great videos available on nfpa.org under public education. If your family doesn't have a plan for fire, I would encourage you to work on that. Where would you meet up if you had to evacuate during the middle of the night? Where is the best exit from everyone's bedrooms? It's not fun to think about but needed just in case.
