All Freshman parents/guardians and their students are invited to come and learn (in person or online format for the meeting) about 9th grade on Tuesday, August 25th at 5:00 pm. We will be meeting in the Fine Arts Center, and for those who are on the virtual pathway this year with school, here is the hangout link.

There will be a Parent/Athlete Meeting for Football at 6:00 pm on Aug. 25th (immediately after Freshman Orientation) in the NOSD Fine Arts Center. All players and parents are encouraged to attend.

High School Chromebooks will be ready to go in students locker if:

1. Registration and Chromebook Terms and Agreement are complete.

2. Fees are paid (or a payment plan is setup with the business office)

Insurance for Chromebooks is offered to families to purchase for $20 per Chromebook. It is strongly recommend purchasing the insurance. Last year repair cost range was $15-50 (if the Chromebook was not insured). This does not cover total loss. This insurance can be paid through e-Funds or by sending or dropping off a check to the OHS office with Chromebook insurance written in the memo.

If you have not completed the school registration you will need to contact Mrs. Zausch.

Ozaukee High School students will be have their picture taken on September 14th by NETWORK Photography. You can pre-order on line using this link Ozaukee SD School Picture Fall Prepay Link . We are encouraging this option because it alleviates having more physical contact and lets parents order directly form their homes. You can also down load and print the paper copy Ozaukee School District School Pictures FALL PREPAY PAPER COPY and bring it the day that pictures are being taken. Those who do not pre-buy their photos will get a proof on the date the photos are delivered and can go on-line and order them.

Registration for fall 2020 is now closed.

All families are required to register! If you have not registered your student you need to call the high school office.

If you pay any fees by e-Funds there will be a convenience fee added to your total at check out.

If you pay by cash or check you may drop payment it off in the High School Office but

please call before arriving to make sure someone is here. You can also mail it in.

There is still time to join the Ozaukee Warrior Cross Country Team. The first week of practice is 8/17-8/2. Practice starts at 6pm. The following week practice starts at 3:15pm.

Student Parking Permits can now be purchased.

• The cost for a Parking Permit is $90.00 unless you purchased one last year. Due to Covid-19 we had to close the school for the last quarter of the school year which meant you didn't use your parking spot. We recognize that and would like to give you a discount this year because of it. So, if you purchased a parking permit last year the fee is only $70.00 this year.

• Registrations and any other prior fees must be paid before payment will be accepted for a Parking Permit.

• Students must have a parking permit to park on school grounds during the school day.

• A Parking Spot is a privilege.

• The system will work the same as in the past where your student will have a permit number that corresponds with a numbered parking spot.

• Please bring in the Color, Make, Model and License Plate number of the vehicle(s) you intend to park at school. All of this information is needed before a permit tag will be issued.

• This year's Student Parking Permits can now be assigned to those who purchase them. All spots are given on a first come, first served bases. (Student Parking Lot Map can be found in button below)

• A parking spot can be paid for through e-Funds. Just e-mail Mrs. Zausch anytime and she will enter the fee in your Skyward account. Then you can go directly to e-Funds and you will find the Parking Permit fee along with your student fees.

As we think about our new school year starting it means it is time to start getting our paperwork in to be able to play high school sports at Ozaukee. Below you will find the button "2020-21 OHS Athletics Participation Form" and "Activities & Athletics Waiver" which are the two forms that needs to be filled out and returned to the High School Office. If you need a physical there is a section on the participation form for the Dr. to fill out and sign. If you do not need a physical there is a section to be filled out by the parent/guardian to update information about health. The form gives you dates to know if a physical is needed or not. Family Access Skyward has a Health tab where you can check when your last physical was, if you turned it into the office to record.

Signing this form also indicates that you read and understand the Concussion Protocol for sports. Below is the informational reading material for both Parent/Guardian and Athlete.

You are also indicating that you read and understand the WIAA Athletic Eligibility for the 2020-21 season by signing the participation form.

The waiver is a separate form that both student and parent will need to sign and return.

A $50 per sport athletic fee will be assigned to each athlete and will need to be paid before the student athlete can compete in the first game/meet of the sport they have joined. There is a maximum payment per school year of $100 per student. In other words, a student would have a fee assigned for their first two sports and then any other sports they joined the rest of that school year would not incur a fee.

Effective 8/1 Masks are required at all times while using the Fitness Center.

The Fitness Room will be open from 3pm to 6pm Monday through Thursday. A current Waiver must be on file before you can use the facility. There will be cleaning supplies made available in the Fitness Room for all who use it so that they may clean the equipment they use/touch.

The Yearbook for 2019-2020 will be sent to print after the completion of Graduation and Prom. They will arrive sometime in October. Thank you for your patience but we felt we had the opportunity to tell the whole story of the year if we waited to publish after these major events were completed.
