School Starts August 20, 2020 VIRTUALLY
Back To School Logistics
· Each student will need to logon every day. Here are the directions.
Students will log into ClassLink every morning to start their day. https://launchpad.classlink.com/tuscaloosa
· Once logged into ClassLink, they will click on the “Schoology” icon.
· From there, they will select their course and find their assignments as well as class information.
· Daily live instruction will be provided through Google Meet.
· Attendance will be checked daily. It is critical that your child participates and is engaged
.· Students enrolled in virtual learning will be required to meet participation requirements in order to satisfy state requirements for "attending" school. Students are expected to participate daily in learning experiences that may include one or more of the following:
o Participating in a live class virtual discussion
o Submitting written assignments
o Posting or commenting on a discussion board
o Logging time in a district-provided digital learning resource/platform
·Students who enroll in fully virtual learning will not be denied access to extra-curricular activities that are offered to students attending school in person on the basis of their enrollment status.
· Students who participate in fully virtual learning will be required to participate in required, standardized assessments in person.
